Terms of use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of channelletter.co.za and any related pages, forms, downloads, and contact channels. By using the site, you agree to these terms and to the lawful use of information supplied through it.

1. Acceptance of these website terms

Channel Letter, operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd, provides this website for general business and product information, enquiry handling, and support related to channel-letter bending machines, coils, returns, training, and after-sales services. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, suppliers, contractors, and customers based in Midrand, Sandton, Pretoria, the East Rand, the West Rand, Durban, and other parts of South Africa.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must stop using the website. We may update the terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business operations, and the revised version will take effect once published on the site.

2. How the site may be used

You may use the site to request quotations, ask for technical guidance, arrange operator training, book commissioning, or obtain details about materials and spares. You must use the website lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with the security, availability, or proper operation of the site.

  • Do not submit false, misleading, or unauthorised information.
  • Do not attempt to gain access to restricted systems or protected content.
  • Do not introduce malware, automation tools, or harmful code.
  • Do not copy site content for resale, republication, or unlawful distribution.

3. Product information, quotations, and orders

We aim to keep product descriptions, specifications, and service details accurate, but errors may occur and specifications may change without notice. Quotations are provided for business use and remain subject to stock availability, technical review, and confirmation by our team. A quotation is not an order until accepted in writing by Channel Letter or its authorised representative.

Pricing may vary according to machine configuration, coil and return dimensions, delivery location, installation requirements, and any special support requested. Lead times are estimates only. For installation planning and delivery to sites affected by load-shedding, access restrictions, or municipal working-hour rules, the customer remains responsible for providing correct site information.

4. Intellectual property and confidential material

All text, photographs, diagrams, layouts, technical notes, logos, and downloadable material on this website remain the property of Channel Letter, Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd, or their lawful licensors unless stated otherwise. You may view and print content for internal business reference only, provided that all notices remain intact.

  • You may not reproduce content for marketing, training packs, or sales material without written permission.
  • You may not reverse engineer or copy any proprietary product documentation supplied through the site.
  • Confidential drawings, machine settings, and support notes shared during commissioning or remote tech help must be used only for the intended project.

5. Support, training, and service limitations

Our services may include operator training, onsite commissioning, preventive servicing, breakdown support, spares supply, production coaching, material selection, remote tech help, installation planning, and refresher training. These services are provided with reasonable care and skill, but outcomes depend on site conditions, machine condition, operator competence, electrical supply, and correct use of materials.

Where assistance is given for sign-maker installs nationwide, the customer must ensure safe access, suitable power, proper lifting arrangements, and compliance with applicable health and safety rules. Coastal humidity, dust, voltage fluctuation, and poorly prepared work areas can affect performance and should be factored into maintenance and production planning.

6. Liability, governing law, and contact

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Channel Letter and Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit, production delays, or damage caused by misuse of products, incorrect installation, lack of maintenance, or unauthorised alterations. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If you have questions about the site or these terms, please send us a message through our contact form. Our Midrand base supports clients across Gauteng and nationwide, and we reserve the right to suspend access where misuse or unlawful activity is identified.
